Silent Expiration: When Visibility Is Changed Without Notice
Post Body (YouTube Community–Safe)
I discovered today that the last post publicly accessible on my YouTube Community page is from over two months ago — “The Matrix Manifested.”
Posts created after that date are still visible to me, but no longer visible to the public.
What makes this concerning is simple and factual:
-
Community post expiration is supposed to be controlled by the creator
-
I did not set any posts to expire
-
There are no strikes, violations, warnings, or notices
-
The visibility change occurred at the platform level, not my account settings
I only learned this while checking an older post on my wife’s phone. From the public side, the record appears quietly erased.
For clarity and transparency:
All posts remain fully archived and publicly accessible on my website:
johnalanlegetteministries.com
Truth doesn’t depend on platforms.
Records don’t disappear just because they’re hidden.
