The Origin of Different Tongues

The Origin of Different Tongues

There was a time when humanity spoke one language. United, they attempted to build a tower to heaven—not to honor Elohim, but to secure power for themselves and resist dependence on Him (Genesis 11).

They feared destruction, even though Yahuah had already made a covenant never to destroy the earth again by flood—the rainbow was the sign. Instead of trusting His promise, humanity chose self-preservation through pride and control.

So Yahuah confused their language, multiplying tongues and scattering the people—not as cruelty, but as restraint. Division stopped a unified wicked work.

Languages did not come from human greatness.
They came from divine intervention.
