WHAT IS "ALMOST"?

 

In Acts 26:28, King Agrippa told the Apostle Paul: "Almost thou persuadest me to be a Messiahian." Almost. That one word represents the most dangerous spiritual position a soul can occupy—the space between conviction and commitment, between hearing truth and living it, between almost saved and eternally lost.

 

"ALMOST" is a 10-track Gospel Neo-Soul and Afro-Cuban fusion album that confronts lukewarm faith, cultural Christianity, and partial commitment. Rooted in the Hebrew Roots tradition and using the sacred names Yahuah, Yahshua, and Elohim, this album is both a warning and an invitation. It's a prophetic wake-up call wrapped in irresistible rhythms.

Track 1: "Almost Persuaded (King Agrippa's Lament)" The title track. King Agrippa stood before Paul, intellectually convinced but unwilling to commit. Are you almost persuaded, or are you all in?

 

Track 2: "Turn and Live (Ezekiel's Cry)" Ezekiel 18:21-32. Yahuah takes no pleasure in spiritual death. He's calling backsliders and prodigals home. It's not too late to turn around.

 

Track 3: "The Prodigal's Mile" You can see home from where you're standing, but shame and pride keep you frozen. One more step. One more mile. Will you take it?

 

Track 4: "Lukewarm Water (Laodicea's Warning)" Revelation 3:15-16. You can't be hot and cold. Lukewarm gets spit out. Cultural religion without genuine passion is dangerous ground.

 

Track 5: "The Rich Young Ruler's Regret" Mark 10:17-22. He had everything except the one thing he needed—complete surrender. What are you holding onto that's keeping you from Yahshua?

 

Track 6: "Pilate's Hand (Washing Away Truth)" John 18:38. Pilate asked "What is truth?" but didn't wait for the answer. You can't wash your hands of Yahshua and claim neutrality.

 

Track 7: "Endure to the End (Marathon Song)" Matthew 24:13. The album's anthem. This isn't a sprint—it's a marathon. Don't quit in the middle. He that endures to the end shall be saved.

 

Track 8: "Lot's Wife (The Backward Glance)" Genesis 19:26 / Luke 17:32. She was delivered from Sodom but looked back with longing. Don't let your past destroy your future.

 

Track 9: "The Five Foolish Virgins" Matthew 25:1-13. They had lamps but no oil—form without power, religion without relationship. When the Bridegroom came, they were unprepared.

 

Track 10: "All In (The Altar Call)" Joshua 24:15. The final invitation. From almost to always. From maybe to YES. Choose this day whom you will serve. It's time to go all in.

 

THE SOUND: WHERE DIASPORA MEETS DEVOTION

 

This album is a bold fusion of Gospel Neo-Soul and authentic Afro-Cuban rhythms. Think D'Angelo's introspection meets Kirk Franklin's celebration, layered over live Afro-Cuban percussion—congas, timbales, bongos, bata drums, claves, guiro, and maracas. Add brass sections reminiscent of Cuban son and salsa, plus full Gospel choir call-and-response, and you have a sound that engages body, mind, and spirit simultaneously.

 

This is music that makes you want to dance while simultaneously driving you to your knees.

 

WHY "ALMOST" MATTERS NOW

 

We're living in a generation of spiritual lukewarmness where cultural Christianity has replaced radical discipleship. People are comfortable with "almost"—almost convinced, almost committed, almost obedient. But scripture is clear:

 

📖 Revelation 3:15-16 - "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth."

 

📖 Matthew 7:21 - "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven."

 

📖 Matthew 24:13 - "But he who endures to the end shall be saved."

 

📖 Ezekiel 18:32 - "For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies," says Yahuah Elohim. "Therefore turn and live!"

 

"ALMOST" is a prophetic summons to examine where you stand in relation to Yahuah's call on your life. It demands decision. It provokes crisis—the good kind that forces clarity and compels choice.

 

THIS IS MY 58TH STUDIO ALBUM

 

After 57 projects, thousands of songs, and decades of ministry, I've learned that the most dangerous place a soul can be is "almost." Almost saved. Almost delivered. Almost committed. Almost at the finish line. Almost in the Kingdom.

 

But Yahuah doesn't do almost. He requires totality. Complete surrender. All in.

 

This album is my most urgent message yet because I see too many believers standing at the threshold of breakthrough but refusing to take the final step. Too many King Agrippas who are "almost persuaded" but walk away. Too many rich young rulers who have everything except the one thing. Too many Lot's wives looking back. Too many foolish virgins unprepared.
